Remember when Junya went off the metaphorical deep end and made those super crazy fair isle blazers a few years back? Everyone wanted them solely for the possibility of getting street styled in them. While those blazers may have come out awhile ago in Internet time—2011 was like a decade ago—they remain near the top of the most coveted jawnz from my #menswear days. Fortunately for us wannabe street style stars, good ol' Daiki Suzuki and Engineered Garments came through with the perfect answer: a brand new take on the fair isle blazer. Not only is this one more in line with the color palette of the day, but is also so much cheaper. Struggle bank accounts rejoice! It's honestly a wonder you even thought about the Junya one now, isn't it? This one is so much better—and I'm a professed fan of Junya's stuff. Can you imagine being outside in this thing with it starts to snow during fashion week? The photographers will base jump out of their apartment windows just to catch a flake or two on your blazer. The weather juxtaposition alone earns you a few pity snaps. Those are the only street style snaps I get anyway.
