Copenhagen-based menswear brand Les Deux has returned for the Fall 2023 season with a wide-spanning assortment of clean-cut silhouettes.
Using the idea that with each visit to a new place, there lies an opportunity to broaden one’s perspective, the seasonal drop comprises a bevy of streetwear styles that range from Japanese denim, chunky sneakers and boots made with A-grade leather and suede, a selection of jerseys, and hyrid puffer outerwear.
“It’s our take on the typical Ivy League wardrobe, whether that’s the check coat of a professor that’s been worn for years, or the brand-new cable knit style of a freshman,” explains Lex Deux’s creative director, Mathias H. Jensen. “We were looking to take a step up and challenge ourselves when it came to the quality, and for me, it was particularly interesting working with these sorts of materials because they allowed us to expand our horizons when it came to the fabric textures we were creating.”
Highlights arrive in the form of the Maximilian Coat, crafted from Scotland’s world-famous Harris Tweed®, as well as the wool-blend Varsity Jacket and Varsity Coat, and luxe Italian bouclé Marseille Jacket. Along with the brand’s core colour palette of black, ivory, grey and navy, the FW23 offering also includes handsome earthy tones like “Dusty Ochre” and “Moss Green”, and is rounded out by additional vibrant pops of reds and yellows.
