Kartik Research has just unveiled a first look at its upcoming collaboration with British heritage brand Baracuta.

As part of the label’s FW24 collection, the line includes a variety of apparel, such as hoodies, shirting, and trousers. One of the highlights is the revamped G9 Harrington jacket, arriving in hand-quilted fabric, with the iconic Fraser Tartan meticulously reproduced on a handloom. Additionally, the collection includes trompel’eoil embroidered garlands made from wool created by Karnataka artisans who specialise in Kasuti embroidery.

The new range draws from India’s dual essence—a romantic ‘fantasyland’ and remnants of the British Raj. Merging these worlds, the resulting offering is made up of contemporary workwear with hand-woven fabrics and Karnataka-inspired embroidery, bridging tradition and modernity.
