Don't you love it when your two favorite things come together? Combining art and alcohol, these artist collaborated bottles are a mash-up of some of the things we enjoy most. With label and packaging designs from Jeff Koons, M.I.A, and KAWS, these alcohol brands have really called upon the best of the best. Too bad the limited editions have price tags that would break the bank. At least you can still enjoy how they look with Awesome Artist Alcohol Bottle Collaborations.

Dr. Lakra for Absolut Vodka
Year: 2012
Absolut Vodka is well known for their dope artist collaborations with everyone from Andy Warhol to Keith Haring to Louise Bourgeois. We love this set of bottles that tattoo artist Dr. Lakra did for Absolut Mexico. Pulling images from Mayan mythology, the jaguar on the front of the bottle is a Mayan god named Balam who protected people and communities. Kukulkan, the feathered serpent god, wraps around the back of the bottle. Dr. Lakra, who is based out of Oaxaca, Mexico, brings visuals from ancient traditions in his home country to this limited edition bottle.
Scott Campbell for Saved
Year: 2013
Brooklyn-based tattoo artist Scott Campbell teamed up with the winemaker behind Wild Horse, Clay Brock, to create Saved Wines. Having equal respect for each others' crafts, the two men came together to produce the alcohol brand. Campbell made a dope label to go with Brock's delicious wines.
David Lynch for Dom Perignon
Year: 2012
It only seems fitting that this iconic champagne would choose an equally iconic filmmaker to redesign its Vintage 2003 and Rosé 2000 bottles. The bottles are black glass with dark blue or dark violet accents, and the images are pulled from two of Lynch's photographs. They represent the luxurious lifestyle of indulgence that goes along with the Dom Perignon brand.
M.I.A. for Beck's Beer
Year: 2012
Last year, Beck's Beer began commissioning a set of limited edition beer bottles from artists and musicians. In 2012, they asked M.I.A. to contribute a bottle, and she designed a psychedelic label with a peace sign and colorful patterns. The other artists involved that year were Aeroxyn-Lex, Bert Rodriguez, Freegums, Geoff McFetridge, and Willy Chyr.
Chris Dean for 1800 Tequila
Year: 2008
Chris Dean is American artist who combines images from pop culture with vibrant colors and patterns, creating often-satirical images. His 1800 Tequila bottle features an illustrated girl with test tubes and chemicals. The graphic may reference the alcohol as a chemical, making it seem dangerous and desirable.
Masion Kitsuné for Pernod Absinthe
Year: 2012
Parisian label Masion Kitsuné worked with Pernod Absinthe to create a playful label adorned with a cartoon fox and pretty flowers. The pattern looks like it would be more suited for clothing than for glass, and the collaborators must have agreed because they released an outfit to go along with the bottle.
James Jarvis for Malibu Rum
Year: 2008
For Malibu's limited edition Pop & Street Art series, they asked three international artists—So-Me from France, Delta from the Netherlands, and James Jarvis from the UK—to create bottle designs. Each artist only made 100 bottles and signed and numbered them, so these beauties are extremely rare. British illustrator and toy designer Jarvis' clever bottle looked like layers of peeling paper.
INSA for Warsteiner
Year: 2013
Top artist redesigns are just what we expect from Warsteiner—30 years ago, Andy Warhol redesigned the brand's tulip glass. Warsteiner has since moved onto aluminum bottles, and UK artist and designer INSA is one of the six artists who created these special art bottles for Warsteiner. The other five artists are Stefan Strumbel, 123Klan, Aaron De La Cruz, Nychos, and Brooke Reidt. INSA is also working on a dope clothing collaboration with MaKers right now.
Makoto Azuma for Perrier-Jouët
Year: 2012
Japanese floral artist Makoto Azuma gave this champagne bottle a new level of sophistication and beauty. The blend of the Japanese flowers with the Art Nouveau style illustrations creates a tasteful blend, just what you would want from your expensive bottle of bubbly.
Will Barras for Tiger Beer
Year: 2012
Will Barras was joined by four other artists, Jasper Wong, husband and wife duo Kozyndan, and Gisele Scanlon, in creating a series of limited edition art boxes for Tiger Beer. Barras, whose canvases are filled with expressive and bold stokes of paint, created a paint-soaked and explosive design.
Futura 2000 for Hennessy
Year: 2013
What do Hennessy and Futura 2000 have in common? They're both legendary. So when they came together it was bound to be epic. Futura combined a digitalized graffiti style with the classic Hennessy gold leaves, and the result was the kind of bottle we all wish we could have in our liquor cabinets.
KAWS for Dos Equis
Year: 2010
KAWS designed these awesome bottles for Dos Equis back in 2010. They were unfortunately only available in Mexico. For the collab, KAWS balanced his style with the essence of the brand to create a blend where both are equally visible, making the Dos Equis X's in the style of the eyes of his character Companion.
Jamie Hewlett for Absolut Vodka
Year: 2012
Put on your best British accent when you pull out this bottle of Absolut. For the collaboration, UK comic artist and creator of the Gorillaz, Jamie Hewlett, created a London theme that includes Brits with attitude in the foreground and iconic British buildings like Big Ben and the London Eye in the background.
Jeff Koons for Dom Perignon
Year: 2013
Jeff Koons is one of the most prominent American artists of our time, and Dom Perignon is one of the most popular champagne brands today. The coming together of these two was eminent and extraordinary. Koons filled a miniature Balloon Venus sculpture with Dom Perignon Rose, and he also designed a limited edition gift-box for the company.
Arik Levy for Hennessy
Year: 2012
Artist, technician, photographer, designer, and filmmaker Arik Levy seems like he has a hand in everything. He teamed up with Hennessy to make Hennessy X.O Mathusalem. This limited edition bottle of cognac goes for a whooping $32,000. It has a patent leather case that was inspired by Levy's rock sculpture. It's the epitome of indulgence for those who can afford it.
