Back in the late '70s, "Futuro-style" dwellings dotted the Sanzhi District of New Taipei City, Taiwan. These UFO looking homes were originally designed to house part-time residents, mainly U.S. Military officers. Despite best intentions, the project never really took off and few of these curious houses were ever actually used. Recently, they were even completely demolished.
