Swedish street artist Shai Dahan deftly mixes contemporary painting techniques and urban art in work that never fails to playfully comment on social issues. His skill for deconstructing luxury and employing elements of local graffiti gives his paintings distinct personality. In his latest body of work, Broken Window, Dahan pulls from Palestinian Beduins and global violence. The work is chaotic and powerful, and, above all, unique in its ability to find beauty in the most ruinous of environments.

Broken Window opens on September 22 and runs through October 13, 2012.
