Derek Weisberg does things with clay you probably wouldn't expect. He forms figures, self-portraits of a sort, that speak to internal emotions and felt experience. What?!? Yeah, it is heady. But, it hits immediately. Weisberg's work is strong, smart, and down right cool.
Weisberg's new show, Porcelain Promises, opens tomorrow night at Greenwich House Pottery. It will run through March 31, 2012.
