You know the old saying; "you'll never know a person until you walk a mile in their shoes." Well, Jared Leto thinks this adage is true, so he suggests men give high heels a chance. Wait, what?
For the singer/actor's latest role as a transgender drug dealer in "Dallas Buyer's Club," his appreciation for the opposite sex has grown even deeper as he has had to wear the female-dominant footwear. In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Leto pays homage to the footwear and says every man should give them a try in order to understand what women everywhere have to put up with.
Is he crazy? Or does he have a point? Leto has had a reputation for quirky clothing that have garnered some criticism, but is this going out-of-bounds for some dudes? Women constantly complain about the shoes, yet they still wear them on the regular. If men showed that same initiative, what could come of it? That's gotta take some sort of dedication and Leto certainly understands the struggle.
