We prefer the shade of maroon.
The “Game Changer” Jacket
The Shirt jacket will forever be a favorite style of ours because it allows us to look fly both indoors and out. Take that, polar vortex! When it comes to shirt jackets, we’re particularly excited about the one we discovered from Stone Island. The lightweight jacket is designed with a nylon outer layer and flap front pockets for convenience, breaking the laws of nature one day at a time.
Before you run off to spend your bread on another parka or anorak, let us take a step back for a moment to admire the varsity jacket. The varsity has kept up with the trends for seasons, but the Leather Varsity by Band of Outsiders is not one to be missed. Made with smooth grain leather, the black and white stripes echo the collegiate spirit while the slim fit delivers the swagger.
The “Coolest” Full-Length Parka
Who appreciates a boring looking jacket? We didn’t think so. If you’re looking for a smooth parka to sport, we highly recommend you take a look at the Grey Hooded Parka from Y-3. Its simple interface, slanted pocket design, and intriguing zipper feature along the center has us dying to look cool while feeling warm.
Virtuous style is great and all but we wouldn’t mind dressing sinisterly. The flannel vest from Rag & Bone will help you play the bad-guy role with excellence. The “Anti-Labor Day” Jacket
We can no longer abide by the no-white-after-Labor-Day rule, especially when it’s getting in the way of our fly style. We’ve stumbled upon a fair selection of suede bomber jackets but haven’t encountered any that is funkier than the one from Todd Snyder. Shirt jackets are undoubtedly one of our favorites for this season and the one made by Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons is not to be slept on. What we love about this jacket is the combination of assorted textures and embellishments that combine to craft a harmonious piece. Breaking the laws of both art and nature? We can dig it.

We’re not sure that we can get enough of double layer jackets. As long as the keeps us warm and looking fly, we’re game. The good folks at Joe Fresh made a jacket specifically for our preference. The shell jacket is water resistant and double-lined, while the quilted jacket packs extra warmth when worn together.

This jacket will have you remain scheming.
In our search to locate the best jackets for the season we uncovered one that tends to be overlooked—the trucker jacket. Thanks to our homeboy Alexandre Plokhov, this rural American piece is shedding a new light. What we’re so crazy about this jacket is the suede trimming and dark wash blue denim. This jacket is impermeable in the city streets, but not so much at the truck stops.

There’s something about the season that stimulates the slothfulness in us. Whether it’s the fear of going out in the bad weather or the desire to catch up on Netflix, we’ve located the perfect coverall to assist your lethargic needs. The 100 percent vintage cotton coverall is made to keep you warm for your Breaking Bad marathon.
All things fleece and shearling are making a comeback this season with refreshing styles. No other jacket eludes this trend more than the Cav Empt fleece. The contemporary cut and soft surface makes it determined that fleece and shearling jackets are still in style.
As pumped as we are for the arrival of fall trends, we couldn’t help but show love for the Barbour jacket. Their latest collaboration with J. Crew has us infatuated all over again. The waxed cotton jacket boasts a few upgrades this season, including a shearling interior with a rustic hue.
