The Complete Style History of Tosh.0

For four seasons, Daniel Tosh has been taking the best of the Internet and making it even better with his commentary on Tosh.0. Whether riffing on a viral video, or giving the often-shamed people in them a chance at "Web Redemption," the laughs keep coming and the comedian never takes himself too seriously — which sometimes can land him in hot water.

Regardless, he's rocked some pretty outlandish outfits, whether embodying school spirit with college gear, or getting into high fashion with some really spectacular designer duds. And of course, you can't beat his regular ensemble of cardigans and hoodies. We watched a little too much TV for this, but we managed to get it done. Here is The Complete Style History of Tosh.0.

In his first season, Tosh kept it simple in graphic tees and paired them with hoodies and cardigans.

The whole "knit with a T-shirt" thing kind of became his uniform.

This heather gray/salmon color palette isn't as distracting as the dude/chick he's talking about. But seriously, is that a dude or a chick?

Tosh switches it up with a hooded cardigan... with buttons!

Not sure how we're feeling about the dung brown hoodie, but that Periodic Table of The Elements T-shirt? Hell yes! Science!!!

And yet another hoodie, but this time with a contrast zipper — you know, for that pop of color.

Ever a man of the people, Tosh reps the average joe in this heather gray hoodie. Underneath? A Union Jack T-shirt. Maybe he's gunning for that British audience too?

Today in Daniel Tosh's hoodies: his non-ribbed cuffs add a little flair to his kit.

A fresh buzzcut means a fresh cardigan. Throw some black-framed glasses on him and you might mistake him for Rivers Cuomo from Weezer.

Season 2 kicks off with... a hooded jacket. Style takes baby steps Tosh... tiny little baby steps.

It takes a certain type of guy to pull off a shawl collar, and Danny-boy's does it with finesse.

A black hoodie and a gray graphic tee. We think the woman is crying tears of happiness... because Tosh remembers where his style started, and is always going to embrace that.

Second time's the charm: enter the jacket with a shawl collar. He should rock this look more often... but not SHAWL THE TIME.

It must have been warmer in the studio on this day, Tosh is just wearing a flannel, where's the jacket?

Feeling the sleek blazer in this look. Is it racist? No. But we're pretty sure after his jacket goes black, he goes back a couple of times.

Some season one residual style, this guy loves his hoodies.

Like all real people we wear the same thing twice, its the same jacket he's wearing in Episode 8 from the same season.

No hoodie, no jacket, no cardigan, just a crewneck #evolution.

Tosh is going commando with this military-inspired jacket. We can't verify the presence or absence of underwear though.

We'll take the sweater and not the tee buddy.

Another hoodie! With a lightning bolt patch. A patch that summons TOSHTRON, a giant robot he uses to fight crime and stomp buildings... full of criminals.

We don't know where this sweater is from, but we want it.

Rejoice, the cardigans have returned!

It might not be for you, but there's something about this military jacket and striped tee combo that really works well together.

This is close to a man-cleavage bearing shirt. And we say no to "heavage."

A striped tee and simple black cardigan make for a solid style choice.

He's finishing up the second season strong with a jacket and shirt combo that any guy could rock with ease. Even the chubby kid in the screencap.

Thank god he chose not to pop this "colla." Good on you, Daniel Tosh.

You can't go wrong with a military shirt and a smug grin.

Looks like Tosh was up on the monochromatic trend early.

Dude, another hoodie? Yeah, even that lady is surprised to see it.

Like a majority of his jokes, Tosh's shirt is all about blackness.

And then Daniel Tosh wore a tank top on air...

Forget the tee, that's a whole lot of ass in the background.

Season 3 ends with Tosh's motto being "POLO." He rocks them in succession. This one is pink. Do real men wear pink? We'll leave it up to you to decide.

You can't go wrong in a polo from Original Penguin.

Ok, we didn't have a problem with the pink polo, but this soft purple is pushing it.

And so ends the brief run of the polo. But we're really digging this blue gingham shirt paired with dark wash jeans.

You can get a Givenchy shark print tee, or you can just do the fin like Tosh.

The polo comes back in a simple dark color! Can't go wrong with that.

And another polo! Um. What is happening in that background shot though?

We're into his tee, although we don't know what the artist on it is trying to paint.

This polo reminds us of "Where's Waldo?" but we still like it.

Tosh started wearing collegiate apparel for a few episodes and kicked it off with an Arizona State Devils tee.

Next up he showed some love to the Miami Hurricanes.

Showing love to the community colleges of Florida which is kind of an oxymoron.

Yup, that's a Brigham Young tee. Maybe Tosh just saw The Book of Mormon?

Here he's looking like a coach for one of the Ohio State teams.

He's doing the Blue Devils proud by rocking a Duke Lacrosse hoodie.

Go Longhorns, he's even throwing up their sign. Hook 'em!

He's even got love for the HBCUs! When Tosh rocked a cardigan and tee from D.C.'s Howard University, the images went viral.

He's looking like he's first string for the Oregon Ducks, gloves and all.

This episode started Tosh's short run wearing "High Fashion." He's decked out in John Varvatos and he doesn't look too happy about it.

Tosh's ski style is on another level, here he's in the Italian outerwear company Duvetica, bringing swag to the slopes.

He's giving all of you menswear geeks a run for your money here in head to toe Zegna. But um, doesn't he look a little like stylist Brad Goreski in this getup?

Designer twins Dean and Dan would be proud of this, uh, vibrant Dsquared ensemble.

Taking a major walk on the wild side in Alexander McQueen.

Marc'd out in Marc Jacobs, Tosh sure knows how to make designer duds look ridiculous.

The funniest part about this is the guys who ran out and brought the same outfit after seeing him here in Etro.

A white mesh sweater, and white jeans with studs... all from Dolce & Gabbana. Man, Tosh really wants you to know how ridiculous fashion can be at times.

After high fashion, Tosh started rocking SICK KICKS (For The Ladies). He basically wants you to know that his sneaker game is better than yours. These Atmos x Reebok Ex-O Fit kicks glow in the dark.

It's all about his adidas AR 2.0's.

You might not be able to pull of these Supra Skytop low's like him, but they are still fresh.

Everyone, including Tosh is up on the New Balance 574 trend.

This one makes us want to go back in time to cop these flannel kicks from Clae.

Rare kicks are included too, these Reebok Court Victory Pumps definitely stood out in this clip.

These Puma's were a collab with designer Hussein Chalayan, and they look sick with his denim shirt.

We don't know what we like better, his kicks or his Band of Outsiders polo shirt, this man's style has come a long way.
