Filson debuted its first ever watch collection at the Baselworld watch show in Switzerland this week.

The line is manufactured in Detroit by Filson's sister company, Shinola, and draws inspiration from the pillars of Filson's identity: made in the USA, built with purpose, and built to last. The line is still in development but is set to include around 20 timepieces in four different collections. The Mackinaw collection is aimed at the outdoorsman in the field or the working man, the RiverMaster collection for someone on or near water, the Journeyman for travellers, and the Bush Pilot for the explorers. If you're none of the above, it's cool too if you're just looking for a good-looking watch.

The watches are backed by a Lifetime Guarantee, which will cover any repair to the timepiece outside battery replacement or leather strap and buckle.

The line is set to be available online this October 2015 with prices starting at $550.
