Those who believe in the healing powers of marijuana have reason to celebrate as Apothecanna has become the first skincare company in the United States to be licensed to use cannabis flower extracts in its products.

The products are all meant for topical use and the balms, creams, and a salve combine cannabis oil and other all-natural components. The cannabis oil acts as a super-charger for the other botanical ingredients its paired with to create highly effective skincare products. Each cream and balm is constructed around a function (pain relief, relaxation, or energy) and utilizes marijuana grown legally at licensed facilities in Colorado.

That said, no need to worry if you've never touched a joint before, because this form of cannabis usage doesn't cause inebriating effects. Also: there's no risk of it appearing on standard drug tests.

Apothecanna's products are available online with prices ranging from $10 to $50 in Colorado. The company plans to role out the skincare elsewhere law permitting.
