This year's American Music Awards were going to be lit from jump. With Jennifer Lopez holding down hosting duties, the debut of an enigmatic collaboration between Rihanna and Samsung, and performances from Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, and The Weeknd (just to name a few), 2015 is going down as one of the biggest AMAs of all time.
But it's not an award show without red carpet shenanigans, and this year certainly did not disappoint. While we may be the first ones to criticize some truly foul fashion choices, we also have to give props where they're due. From Nick Jonas' Drake-inspired knitwear, to Justin Bieber's Fear Of God 'fit, there were definitely a few fellas who came to the AMA's dressed to impress. These are The Best Looks from the 2015 American Music Awards Red Carpet.
Charlie Puth
You may not have heard Charlie Puth's pop stylings until watching him perform tonight, but we're definitely not sleeping on his pink Acne Studios suit. Oh, and can someone explain that incredibly long makeout session with Meghan Trainor?
Harry Styles
Timelines across the country may be airing Harry Styles out for dressing in a print that was last seen covering the couch at your grandparents' house, but it takes a lot of guts to step out on the red carpet in a bell-bottom floral suit—even if it is from Gucci's Spring/Summer 2016 menswear collection.
Justin Bieber
Does Justin Bieber wear a lot of Fear Of God? Sure. Is that a bad thing? Not if he continues to wear looks like this.
Wiz Khalifa
Is it ironic that Wiz Khalifa killed the red carpet competition in a fire smoking jacket?
Nick Jonas
It's clear that Nick Jonas took a page out of Drake's playbook when he decided to come through in this grayed-out Topman turtleneck ensemble. But as long as he doesn't bite Drizzy's infamous dance moves, we think he can get away with this one.
