Swiss architects Lang and Baumann have made a career out of doing extraordinary feats of architecture. Their series titled Beautiful Steps places staircases on ceilings, the side of buildings, and surrounding towers. The only bad news is that people can't actually use the stairs; they're simply for beauty and aesthetic purposes. There's nothing wrong with marveling at them from your computer screen, though.
