Rook is teaming up with The Goonies for a six-piece capsule collection that features beloved characters and a quote from the classic 1985 film. Rook co-owner and creative director Joe King is a huge fan of the movie and created original artwork to be used for the collection. "Even as a kid I was attracted to The Goonies, not only for the adventure and the riches but I felt I understood the Misfits, the outcasts... The Goonies!" said King.
Chunk, doing his infamous "truffle shuffle," Sloth, and One-Eyed Willie are all placed on short and long sleeve tees, a crew neck sweater, and a hoodie. Many of the items in the collection also feature one of the movie's most famous quotes, "Goonies never say die," either emblazoned across the front of a T-shirt or running down a sleeve.
The collection will be available exclusively at Tilly's on Oct. 13, followed by a special screening of The Goonies at the Lido Theater in Newport Beach, CA. on Oct. 16.
