Any watch can tell time, but did you know they can also serve as indispensable diving instruments, operating down to 300 meters deep? If not, it’s time to grab a Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro and experience the abilities of a luxury timepiece that opens the door to unfettered adventure, while doubling as top-notch accessory that simply looks good.

Founded as a watch-making school in Florence in 1860, the brand transcended into a supplier  of precision instruments to the Italian Navy and specialist diving crews. Today, Panerai develops and produces an iconic collection of watches that are only available through an exclusive network of distributors.

Swiss-made with Italian flair, the new Submersible QuarantaQuattro is the cornerstone of Panerai’s iconic collection of dive watches. Now available in a 44mm case, the newest range of Submersibles joins the existing 42mm and 47mm sizes available in the collection. And if we’re talking features, the watch has a uni-directional rotating bezel made to measure immersion time, as well as metallic appliques filled with white Super-LumiNova™. The P.900 caliber even features a seconds sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position and a three-day power reserve. Consistent with Panerai’s commitment to encouraging environmentally friendly practices, each watch is sold with two easily interchangeable straps: one rubber and one fabric, both made from recycled materials.

In addition to a classic steel and black dial version (PAM1229), Panerai offers the Submersible QuarantaQuattro Bianco (PAM1226) with a brilliant white dial and supremely versatile military green straps. Even more limited is the Submersible QuarantaQuattro Carbotech™ Blu Abisso (PAM1232), a blue-dial version made from Carbotech™, a durable and lightweight carbon fiber material pioneered by Panerai. And while lightweight, the Blu Abisso is powerful with dynamic features, including both corrosion and scratch resistance. To make this model even more unique, Carbotech™’s uneven matte-black appearance varies according to how the material is cut, ensuring that no two watches are exactly alike.

Now, check the time and get yourself a watch that’s ready for anything.
