UGG® recently announced that it was launching another partnership with Footaction, which this time would feature none other than multi-platinum rapper and actor KYLE.
The goal of the campaign was to create a riveting collection of photographs featuring KYLE as he explores some of the most iconic locations in New York City. Having recently spent a chunk of time in NYC while filming his star turn in Netflix’s original hip-hop comedy The After Party, KYLE teamed up with acclaimed photographer Chris McPherson and embarked on a one-of-a-kind journey around New York—going everywhere from the Statue of Liberty to Central Park, Chinatown to the West 4th Street basketball courts, and even a stop at the last phone booth in New York City. The entire experience was captured by McPherson in an epic series of photographs, which also feature KYLE sporting some of the best new style offerings from UGG.
“I really love how versatile the UGG styles are,” KYLE says. “I’m a dude from California and I can rock UGG any day. It was dope to be able to partner with UGG and Footaction on this campaign.”
Now, UGG® and Footaction are bringing their collaboration to ComplexCon this year on Nov. 4 and 5. The two will team up to host an interactive visual experience, combining fashion, technology, and art for a wholly unique activation, all set to KYLE’s new music. The installation will also feature McPherson’s photos of KYLE from their recent NYC adventure, as well as three exclusive, new colorways of the UGG Neumel that are now available online and at Footaction stores nationwide. KYLE himself is also gonna swing by on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 pm.
