Levi's dips into their archive to redeliver their late 90s Engineered Jeans.

First launched to huge success in 1999, the Levi's Engineered Jeans provided progressive style and an unparalleled fit that offered the modern essentials of denim - comfort and freedom of movement. Utilising the technology of today, 3D knit technology and four-way stretch fabrication takes everything that made Levi's Engineered Jeans great, and makes them better.

The special edition re-issue of Levi's Engineered Jeans for Spring/Summer 2019 puts the spotlight on research and modern design. Staple styles such as the 502 Regular Taper and 512 Slim Taper fit jeans for men and the Loose Jean, Slouchy Taper and Reissue Trucker Jacket for women are recontextualised to suit the needs of the modern consumer.

Speaking on the collection, Jonathan Cheung, Senior Vice President, Global Design at Levi’s said: “Engineered is the principle that is the foundation of both of these releases. We’re taking the concept of Levi’s® Engineered Jeans™ and experimenting with 3D knitting to see what it could be like to make the jeans of the future.”

Levi's Engineered Jeans are set to drop from February 7th via Levi's.
