Barbour announces their new sub-brand with Barbour Beacon, making its way onto the scene for AW18.
The brand's name is taken from the Beacon lighthouse that stands at the mouth of the River Tyne in North East England, a symbol that has stood strong within Barbour's DNA.
Barbour Beacon represents a contemporary take on the brand's heritage. This collection presents a clear colour focus of navy, olive, royal blue, and orange. Key apparel pieces include hiking fleece, long sleeve polos, track pants, and logo tees.
Speaking on the introduction of the new brand, Barbour’s Global Marketing and Commercial Director Paul Wilkinson said: “Barbour Beacon encapsulates the authenticity and heritage of Barbour with a youthful look and personality that will appeal to a younger demographic. The Barbour Beacon logo is an authentic image from the Barbour archive which we have used as a strong branding device to target a younger consumer. We are excited to be launching it to the marketplace for Autumn/Winter 2018.”
Barbour Beacon collection will be available from Barbour Carnaby Street from early August and online via Barbour Beacon.
