Christian Audigier, the designer who made Ed Hardy and Von Dutch two of the most successful brands of the 2000s, has died at the age of 57, LATF reportsAudigier was diagnosed with MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome), a form of cancer that affects bone marrow, in January, according to TMZ

Audigier made Ed Hardy a household name with the line's bold patterns and colorful designs. He also worked with Guess, Levi's, Von Dutch, Diesel, American Outfitters, Bisou Bisou, and XOXO and had a net worth of over $250 million. 

It was last reported that Audigier was doing much better following a bone marrow transplant in March. However, he recently slipped into a coma at Cedars-Sinai Hospital before passing away, according to LATF.
