Jay-Z's company Roc Nation has expanded into clothing with the release of Roc Nation Apparel. Emory Jones, an early friend of Hova, has developed the new line that offers much more than the typical branded T-shirt. The new collection that Jones describes as "luxury comfort" has hats, tees, hoodies and shorts with a price point that tops out at $78.
When asked by GQ why the entertainment company wanted to create a streetwear line, Jones said,"I think we just wanted to represent our lifestyle of where we're at right now. When you're moving around the world like we are, it was like, why not? Look, we're not trying to be a fashion brand, we're just trying to be a part of culture."
