According to WWD, that Lululemon SoHo men's store that was set to open in 2016 is hitting the fast-forward button. It's actually going to open on Black Friday. It will be the brands first men's-only store amongst the 270 locations it already has around the world. Apparently, menswear accounts for roughly 17% of the company's business as it is and is allotted just 15% of current storefront space. The SoHo men's store, opening November 28th at 127 Prince Street, will be directly across the street from a women's-only unit supposedly set to open late next year. The selection will include some more performance menswear made with "anti-stink" material and reflective strips for bike commuters. But the best nugget here is that the Lulu brass wants to turn this new shop into a "hang out environment" and not a "get in, get out" sort of storefront. There will be chilled drinks available, a top of the line sound system and dressing rooms with wood and metal for only the most manly, brolic try-ons. Damn, Black Friday's gonna be so lit, fam. Hella bros Getting Active™.
