Before hitting the stage at one of her UK shows, Iggy Azalea sat down with Noisey for a quick interview. The Australian rapper talked about everything from her accent, feud with Azealia Banks, and being told she was too fat to model.
While it's interesting to hear what she had to say about the beef with the female rapper, we're stuck on the modeling comment. Is Elite Models serious? Iggy too fat? According to the rapper, the agency asked her to lose four inches off her hips. "That's ridiculous," she said. "What would I even be? I would have to have one of my hips removed."
Well the jokes on Elite because Iggy is officially a model, having recently inked a contract with Wilhelmina International, Inc. The 5'10" hottie joins the agency, which in the past has also represented Fergie, Estelle, and Natasha Bedingfield.
"I'm very excited to be a part of Wilhelmina. I've always had an interest in fashion, so it's an honor to be able to expand my brand further with the very best in the industry," Azalea said in statement.
