In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Peace Corps, SeaVees is releasing the 09/61 Volunteer Plimsoll ($78). The Peace Corps Act was passed in September of 1961, which has led us closer to a better, more peaceful world. Luckily, they used an awesome shoe to commemorate the cause, as the canvas classic Plimsoll is a respectable and stylish way to show gratitude. A portion of the proceeds for each shoe sold is being donated to the Peace Corp, and they are now available in three colors on SeaVees webshop and select J. Crew shops. Give thanks to those who try and make the world a better place.
