The '90s signified a change in the NBA jersey. Teams started to shy away from traditional designs and started to introduce alternates. '90s jerseys were classics featuring sometimes comical themes and logos like the Atlanta Hawks, or featured pinstripes that seemed to be all the rage like the Orlando Magic's jersey. From the new-look Sacramento Kings to the "teal era" Detroit Pistons jerseys, here are the Most Badass NBA Jerseys of the '90s.

Seasons: 1994-97

Mitch Richmond cannot be touched in this Kings alternate. Sure, it might be on the ugly side, but you have to respect the designers ambition. We see your vision.

Seasons: 1995-2001

The only memorable part of the "teal era" in Detroit is Grant Hill piling up triple-doubles and dunking on every big man. That's it.

The '90s seemed to be the era of the ever-changing Sixers uni. Philadelphia wore four different styles of jerseys throughout the '90s, but only one could make the list. We decided to go with the one that ushered in the Allen Iverson Era.

Seasons: 1988-99

These jerseys are classic. Simple yet effective, and so popular that Miami decided to wear these thowbacks multiple times during the 2012-13 season. Tim Hardaway and Alonzo Mourning have been immortalized.

Seasons: 1989-96

In the '90s, everybody was wearing the teal and purple colorway with either a Hornets jersey, Hornets Starter snapback, Grandmama Cons, or all three.

Seasons: 1997-2005

Too many teams try pinstripes and just fail miserably. In the late '90s Indiana changed their uniform design to an all-striped everything style jersey. It led to a wildly successful Indiana stretch that could be best remembered with this ridiculous game-winner by Reggie Miller. They should bring these back.

Sir Charles. All Black. Why didn't the Suns keep these? Things were so much better back then.

The cartoon-themed claws and stripes just scream '90s. These get a bad rap but what's more badass than huge Raptor playing basketball in the middle of a jersey?

This style helped enhance Chicago's 72-10 1995-96 season and 69-13 1996-97 season. This jersey plus a Bulls championship hat, and some Js? You were the man in school that day.

This Orlando uni brings us to the days when Penny & Shaq were the ultimate duo this side of Jordan & Pippen. A young Penny was definitely giving Mike a run for his money in terms of pop culture popularity. Bandwagon fans had a tough time choosing between the Bulls and the Magic back in those days.
