The Rubicon Trail is famed as a proving ground for America's most rugged trucks. The 22-mile-long route, located in the Sierra Nevada range, has been a mecca for four-wheelers since the 1950s.

Jeep has been using the difficult terrain as de facto test track for years, and for the past 10 years has used Rubicon to badge special edition Wranglers. The 2013 version celebrates a decade of off-road dedication. Meaty BF Goodrich tires, a winch-capable steel front bumper, and a vented hood are all part of the functional style. Mopar gets into it as well, providing black rocker panel rais, taillight guards, and a fuel door. Jeep's calling it "the most off-road capable Wrangler in history."
