Like the end of any dysfunctional relationship, the aftermath between Kevin Love and the Minnesota Timberwolves has been rockier than a hayride through the Sawtooth Mountains. On Wednesday, Kevin Love responded to T-Wolves owner Glen Taylor's recent criticism that the 3x NBA All Star is "injury-prone" and struggles to play defense.
Love told ESPN's Mike & Mike radio show, “I just think that he should be focusing on the players that he just received… I think he got a lot for me. So I'd be focusing even more on that.”
He's not wrong either; Minnesota got back a good bounty for Love, rare in this era of trading superstars for cents on the dollar. So while Taylor may be the love-scorned ex who was unceremoniously dumped, he's got Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, and Thaddeus Young. Not bad for a "rebound."
