In a surprising twist of fate, the previously undefeated Houston Cougars suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of Southern Miss during today's Conference USA Championship Game. As a result, Houston will not be headed to any of the major upcoming bowl games, and even more heartbreaking, every school in the Conference USA will miss out on the $17 million payout they would've received if the Cougars had actually won. Good job, Golden Eagles! Ever heard of taking one for the team...or in this case, the conference?
