The ill-prepared Dubai police force has added a BMW M6 Gran Coupe, and a Ford Mustang to its already stacked lineup of justice supercars. Apparently, a Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF, and a Bentley Continental GT weren't enough to thwart criminals, which makes us wonder exactly what kind of crime Dubai officers are up against. Is the government worried that a real life Fast & Furious gang is heading into Dubai (we wouldn't be mad at F&F 7 or 8 being set there)? Because it's foolish to think even a Ferrari could beat Paul Walker (or his doppelganger). He beat one with a Toyota Supra six movies ago.
In all seriousness, the high profile purchases are being made in an attempt to gain attention from organizers of the World Expo 2020, which Dubai wants to host. Who knows if it's working, but we can't wait to see what car will be next.
