Admit it. Unless you were one of the sad people who peaked at age 17, you sucked in high school. That's just how it is. Those were the days before we realized the world doesn't revolve around us. The days when we thought we were hot shit. The days when, really, our ego couldn't have been more disproportionate from our level of cool. It doesn't even take soul searching to figure this out. Just look at some senior photos. They were full of douchey poses, forced brooding, and posing next to cars purchased by parents. It doesn't even matter how nice the car was. If it were shitty, then you just looked dumb posing next to it. And if it were nice, you just looked spoiled. See how bad of an idea it still is with 50 Awkward Senior Photos With Cars.

There is a very fine line between brooding and sad. It's a line this kid obviously does not know how to walk.

Sorry
I feel a bit guilty about including a kid I went to high school with, so I'll offer this: he was a really nice guy. But it's not a good look when I start this list and the first thing I can think of is his senior photo. Its awfulness has been seared into my brain for years.

Proof that wearing a suit doesn't transform you into Don Draper. To be fair, Draper also looked like a goober in his flashbacks.

Mini
A Mini Cooper is acceptable for a high school girl. That hat, however, is acceptable on no one.
Ian
It wouldn't be fair to son these kids without showing my own awkward photo. In my defense, I took this as a joke, knowing a. how lame it is to take photos with cars and b. how lame my car is. Regardless, it's mad awkward and highlights how I looked 12 years old at 18. Now that I'm 21, I'm up to looking 17.
