There are two ways to interpret tomorrows meeting between the New England Patriots brass and prospective first round pick/former Heisman winner, Johnny Manziel. Either you find it surprising, or you think it's a standard move not worthy of attention.
With the 29th overall pick it's not likely that Manziel will come close to falling to the Pats. But a couple recent developments (including the Texans seeking a trade for the top pick, and the Vikings "seeing flags" around J. Football) could at least make it a possibility for Manziel to become Tom Brady's heir apparent.
No offense to Ryan Mallett.
