Not Available Lead

If you've ever watched a flub where a basketball player scores a basket in their own hoop, it's more often than not that the inadvertent play is due to someone going up to snatch a board, but accidentally tips the ball in from mishandling the grab.

Greek professional league player Jermaine Marshall scored in his own team's hope like he knew exactly what he was doing. Or did he?

After the being up by two, 95-93, with 2 seconds left in a playoff game, the former Penn State-to-Arizona State transfer player made himself an accessory after the fact that he was supposed to break the defenses' backcourt press. Instead, he made their job much easier with some bonus points, and lessened his team's chances of advancing closer towards a championship. After his Ae Nea Kifisia teammate got the ball after a missed free throw from the other team, Marshall caught his teammate's pass in the backcourt and laid in the ball like he was going for something worthy of "One Shining Moment" clip. DOH!

To make matters worse, Ae Nea Kifisia lost in overtime. What a way to go out, out like a sucker.
