Tonight against the Nets, Stephen Curry matched his dad Dell Curry with a total of 1,245 three-pointers made. Both are now tied for the 42nd spot in NBA history. Dell played sixteen years in the NBA, and remains the Charlotte Hornets all-time scoring champ. So with Stephen now entering his prime, and holding a ring up and MVP trophy up on his dad, we know he must be a proud father that he's continuing the lineage of sharp shooting from behind the arc.
And Steph's not even 30 yet. His dad retired at age 38.
Here's a quick montage of their father-and-son shooting spree legacy in the NBA.
