With the Premier League season finished but Euro 2016 still weeks away, football finds itself in a weird kind of purgatory.

Some players have already gone on summer breaks, others are training with their national team and those lucky few – like Jamie Vardy and his Leicester teammates – are on a world tour with their new Premier League title.
