Jay-Z is holding a series of concerts at the brand-new Barclays Center late next month to help christen the venue. And, from the sound of things, he's going to have a very special guest when he takes the stage. In a recent email to Crain's New York, Brooklyn Nets billionaire owner Mikhail Prokhorov said that he plans on busting a few rhymes alongside Hov when he performs at the Nets new arena.
"Yes, I will rap at his concert," he wrote. "I am in rehearsals now 10 hours a day and plan to demand joint billing."
Prokhorov is no stranger to rapping. During an appearance on the the Russian TV show Spotlight Paris Hilton earlier this year, MP let a few rhymes loose to show off his skills. "Mr. Jay-Z, this is the first presentation/Of real rap music from Russian Federation," he rapped. "Mr. Jay-Z, you are not alone/Mikhail Prokhorov on the microphone."
Catchy! And, we're sure that everyone in attendance at the Jay-Z shows will be thrilled to hear Jay interrupted by hot lines like these. Ha. Anyone want to sell us their tickets now?
