This hurts to watch.

If you’re like me and you don’t have the stomach to watch athletes suffering particularly gruesome injuries—as in, if you’re still steering clear of the video of the stomach-churning Kevin Ware injury nearly four years later—then you’re probably going to want to press pause on the clip above before you see what happens to Bulls guard Kris Dunn (no, really, SHUT IT OFF).

On Wednesday night, Dunn and the Bulls squared off against the Warriors, and Dunn actually played pretty well during the game. He finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in a 119-112 loss. But he also suffered one of the worst injuries you’ll ever see take place during an NBA game when he went up for a breakaway dunk with about three minutes remaining in the contest and ended up falling flat on his face after making it.

Dunn stayed down after taking the nasty spill, and within just seconds, it was clear he wasn’t going to be able to simply shake it off. Dunn’s mouth was bleeding, and he appeared to be dazed as he tried to come to terms with what had just happened to him.

Somewhat amazingly, Dunn didn’t lose any teeth when he hit his face on the ground. But he did chip and dislocate his front two teeth, which is probably every bit as painful as it sounds. He also had to be evaluated for a concussion, though it doesn’t sound like he was suffering from any concussion symptoms after leaving the court.

And that wasn’t the only damage Dunn did. When his teeth hit the ground, they also managed to take out a big chunk of the floor at the United Center.

It’s unclear if Dunn is going to miss any action due to the injury. The Bulls have a few days off before traveling to Atlanta on Saturday to play the Hawks. But if he did need a couple extra days to recover from this, no one would even blame him. Ouch.
