We're just about 24 hours away from Floyd Mayweather's final (er, "final"?) fight against Andre Berto, and Mayweather is making one final push to try and entice people to pay for the bout. In light of all of the allegations that were made about him yesterday, he sat down with Fight Hype to talk about why he has decided to step away from the ring after the Berto fight. And while he readily admitted—again—that he has offers worth more than $100 million coming in for him to continue fighting, he claims he isn't going to do it, even though he believes he still has a lot to offer to the sport of boxing.

"I've been offered nine figures to continue to fight already and that's upfront," he said. "I mean, I think I'm skillful enough and have the boxing IQ to go to 50, but I think everything happens for a reason. There's a time and a place for everything, and everything comes to an end. I mean, I'm still going to be involved in boxing. I still want to be involved with boxing and helping young fighters, but as far as fighting, this is my last fight."

We're still not buying it. But if nothing else, the 38-year-old Mayweather has just given himself a huge window of time to launch a comeback at some point. If he ever gets bored over the next 12 years, don't be surprised to see him return to the ring.
