It looks like The Captain is coming back...again. Yankees manager Joe Girardi said Derek Jeter is slated to return to the lineup on Monday against the Blue Jays.

Derek Jeter's prior comebacks have been all too short this season. He returned earlier this season from the broken ankle he suffered during last year's playoffs, only to suffer a quadraceps strain on that very same game he returnd. Then he made another return on July 28 by hitting a home run—the first for the Yankees since the All-Star Break—in his first at-bat. A few games after he found himself rehabbing a strained right calf.

Is he here to stay this time? There's a far above-average chance the Yankees would hope so since they really need to put together a string of wins as soon as possible if they want a shot at making the Playoffs.
