Adrien Broner’s recent stop on Cam’ron and Mase’s It Is What It Is podcast has turned into one of the most talked-about sports-media moments—but not for the reasons the former boxing champ might have wanted.

The appearance, which was supposed to spotlight his take on Terence Crawford vs. Canelo Alvarez, ended abruptly when Cam cut the cameras after Broner kept directing unwanted attention toward co-hosts Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson and Arabia Tillery.

What viewers didn’t see, according to those closest to Broner, is just how unfit he was to even be in front of a microphone that day.

Blue Blood Sports TV, a longtime friend and collaborator of Broner’s, called into Let The Sparkz Fly on MRECK TV to give his perspective, describing what he witnessed at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas during fight weekend.

“AB is like my brother,” Blue said, explaining that he and others saw Broner needing to be physically helped through the lobby. “He got a woman on one side and a dude on the other side holding him up. He wasn’t present at all… he was so spaced out.”

Blue added that those around Broner should have taken him back to his room rather than allowing him to be showcased in public, let alone put on a podcast. “For Cam to see him like that and then try to exploit him is corny,” he said. “You saying you got love for him and he your brother, but then you sit him down in that state? That’s nasty work.”

During the It Is What It Is taping, Broner complimented Wilson repeatedly, compared her to Coco Jones, and asked about her weight.

When Cam tried to move the conversation back to sports, Broner kept whispering her nickname. He later shifted his comments to Tillery, making the awkward remark: “If that’s Arabia, I’m Saudi.”

The crew eventually asked him to leave, with Cam later referring to him as a “junkie” and “alchy” in follow-up footage.

Blue Blood wasn’t defending Broner’s behavior but emphasized the circumstances. “We literally said somebody was gonna try to exploit him and go viral,” he told MRECK. “Not knowing it would be Cam.”

Blue Blood also called Cam'ron a "sucka" for his actions and said he "violated" Broner by subjecting him to ridicule, knowing he has an addiction problem.
