The second year phenom had a tremendous season for the 12-4 Houston Texans. Watt earned 49 of 50 votes to be named the Associated Press 2012 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Denver Bronco Von Miller received the other vote. J.J. finished his brilliant season with 69 tackles, a sixth best 20.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and an insane 16 pass deflections. If he stays healthy, he'll be the best defensive player in the NFL for a long time.
