Steve Ballmer Is Officially the Owner of the L.A. Clippers

According to Bloomberg TV, former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is officially the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers. Ballmer is reportedly acquiring the franchise for $2 billion, after maligned owner Donald Sterling was given a lifetime ban from the NBA on April 29 following racist comments that were made public. Sterling had tried to block the sale, but a judge ruled that he could not legally do so. We’ll provide further updates as more information becomes available.
