According to ESPN.com, the Cleveland Cavaliers, while they might still be in pole position, are no longer the only team in the race to land Minnesota big man, Kevin Love. The Cavs appear set to offer the 2014 and 2013 No. 1 overall picks in Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett, respectively, to pair LeBron James and Love together, but Chicago is planning their own package to try and tickle the Timberwolves ownership fancy. Minnesota is reportedly seeking a deal that would include Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler, as well as other possible additions, in exchange for their want away power forward.

ESPN also reports that Cleveland plan to officially lock up Wiggins this week, which would preclude any deal involving Wiggins from being done until 30 days after he signs a contract. However, this would actually sweeten the pot for Minnesota by guaranteeing they would receive Wiggins' projected salary-cap earning of $5.5 million, and avoid having to re-negotiate a deal this season. So, where do you think Love is heading?
