Speaking of jewelry thefts, earlier this month it was reported that YG had over $400,000 in jewelry, which was housed in a briefcase, taken from his Los Angeles hotel room. The theft reportedly took place between late on New Year's Eve and the morning of New Year's Day at the London in Beverly Hills. YG became aware of the theft after picking up said briefcase and feeling that it was considerably lighter than he remembered it being. At the time, TMZ reported that YG notified police of the theft 5 days after it occurred.
