Kemba Walker appeared to suffer a serious injury during the second quarter of the Celtics' game against the Nuggets. The guard was going after a deflection when he ran into his teammate Semi Ojeleye's torso. He immediately fell down and laid motionless for a few minutes.

He was taken off the hardwood via stretcher after medics took precautions for a possible neck injury. During the game's third quarter, Shams Charania reported that Walker was diagnosed with concussion-like symptoms.

Walker had been the Celtics' leading scorer in his first season in Boston.
