Lionel Messi looks dejected after the UEFA Champions League Semi Final

For those who are unaware, Liverpool pulled off the soccer equivalent of LeBron's 2016 NBA Finals performance.

After losing to by three goals to Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals, Liverpool was able to win big on their home field and advance to the League finals. To make Barca's epic choke even worse, the Reds pulled off this feat without key players Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino. Also, this is the second year in a row Barca folded. In 2018, they failed to make it out of the Champions League quarter-finals dropping their second-leg match-up against Roma.

Now, Barca must face off against their biggest opponent yet... the internet. Proving why they are undefeated, trolls have taken Barcelona's historic collapse as an opportunity to troll the team into obliteration. Fans have come up creative memes that explain the loss, even digging up an archived picture of Drake in a Barcelona jersey.

Liverpool's Georginio Wijnaldum and Divock Origi came up big for the club, scoring two goals respectively in the shutout victory.

Divock Origi knocked out Barcelona.

Let that sink in.
