Unlike everyone else, Zion Williamson didn't think his 360-degree dunk against Clemson on Saturday was all that impressive, modestly rating it "a 7 or 8." Just so we're clear, Williamson honestly believes that the slam where he effortlessly spun in the air before throwing it down with force during a game was nothing more than above average.
Duke Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski doesn't buy into the hype surrounding Zion's high-flying moments, adding that two points are two points regardless of how the ball goes in the hoop, as long as it does go into the rim. "I'm not amazed at that stuff," Coach K said, per ESPN. "He can do that. We allow him to do it. There's no ceiling on how high or how many times he can twirl — as long as he puts the damn thing in."
During his short time with the Blue Devils, Zion has proven to be more than just a human highlight reel, averaging 20.2 points and 9.5 boards per game on 66.4 percent shooting. Of course, what grabs the attention of the public is Williamson's dunks, and he wants everyone to know the best is yet to come, teasing the possibility of having something even more impressive in store. "We've got to see [what a 10 looks like]," he said. "I can't tell you yet."
