Peyton Manningwas one of the athletes implicated in a documentary about doping that appeared on the Al Jazeera network, but he's been aggressive and emphatic in denying the report that he used HGH, and has even threatened to sue.

Manning is continuing on that path, saying that he welcomes the NFL's investigation, and hopes to get it over with as quickly as possible.

“Well, that's certainly probably appropriate, and I'd be glad if they came in here tonight or tomorrow and do it, get it over with,” Manning said Wednesday. “If the league has to do that, I'll cooperate, and the sooner the better, though, if they're listening.”

Considering just how on the attack Manning has been since this report came out, it would seem surprising now if investigators found any evidence that it was true. As for just how quickly any type of investigation would be completely wrapped up, that part is unclear. But if recent history is any indication (Deflategate, anyone?), Manning won't have his name completely cleared anytime soon.
