Ronda Rousey Says She Yelled "Don't Cry!" at Bethe Correia After She Knocked Her Out

During their pre-fight stare down, Bethe Correia came prepped with some trash talk she, in no way, backed up when she told Ronda Rousey in her native Portuguese "Don't cry," as if there was actually a chance that was going to happen:

Correia lasted all of 34 seconds, meaning you may've missed it by simply throwing a ball for your dog, getting something to eat, or taking a piss. After their brief one-sided skirmish, Rousey let us all in on what she said to her vanquished foe the second the match ended:

"I said the exact same thing she was saying to me at the weigh-ins when she was screaming in my face at weigh-in. She was saying 'Don't cry'. So I turned around to her after I knocked her out and I said 'Don't cry'."

It's possible Correia has no recollection of it, seeing as how she was probably concussed. But Rousey too is done thinking about Correia and her pre-fight trash talk (which included a joke about suicide many considered a jab at Rousey's father), though her forgetful memory is by choice:

"I consider the matter settled. I'm not going to have to think about her ever again after this day and I'm sure she'll have to think about me plenty. As far as I'm concerned, it's over and done with."
