Can you believe someone actually sat down and created this picture of the Rockets star using human hair?

Have you ever wondered what happens to your hair once your barber sweeps it up off his floor? If you answered, "It goes into the garbage," you are incorrect.

In actuality, your hair is not simply discarded. Instead, it's used to create portraits of NBA players!

Er, okay. So not all hair is used to make portraits. In fact, most hair does end up getting tossed. But the hair in the photo above was used to create a portrait of James Harden. And it was used because, well, we're going to be honest here: We don't know why it was used. We're going to guess it was because Filip Peraic, the artist who created the site JamesHardenIllustrated.com, has exhausted all of his other ideas for illustrating the Rockets star. But…yeah. This is just getting weird now, dude.

"James Harden Illustrated is back with [a] portrait made of real hair!" Peraic wrote on his site. "For this portrait, I had to enter the creep zone and ask [a] barber for some hair leftovers."

And believe it or not, he's now selling signed and numbered prints of the portrait. Who wants one for their living room?
