Clippers coach Doc Rivers was not happy with the way that his team lost to the Thunder last night. The NBA's referees made a questionable call late in the game that may have cost the Clips the contest, so Rivers wasn't in the mood for small talk after it ended. He was, however, in the mood for yelling. Lots and lots of yelling. So he yelled at the refs, the media, and, apparently, the owner of the Thunder.
That's right. According to a report, Rivers walked by Thunder owner Clay Bennett after the game ended, and he wasn't happy about the replay angles that were provided to the referees when they reviewed a play that took place with about 10 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter. So Rivers took his frustrations out on Bennett by yelling at him about the replay.
"Wow!" he yelled in Bennett's direction. "Why can't we get the right replay?"
Fortunately, Bennett didn't respond to Rivers, so nothing escalated between the two. But we're pretty sure that, if you listen hard enough, you can probably still hear Rivers yelling at someone out there.
